A constable sustained injuries in firing by robbers in the Vehari district of Punjab, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to rescuers, armed robbers fired shots at Constable Rana Iftikhar alias Vicky as the latter resisted the robbery bid.

He sustained injuries and was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital.

Daniwal SHO Muzamil Baloch also reached the hospital.
