Two ‘robbers were killed in a shootout in Lahore late on Sunday, police said.

According to police, a squad flagged down two motorcyclists but they started firing.

In retaliatory firing, they were killed, the police said, adding that the dead belonged to the Topi gang and were wanted in many cases including killing a policeman.

The shooting occurred in the Shahdara area of the Punjab capital. The bodies were shifted to the morgue.
