Dr Shabbir talks about modern technique for diagnosing women’s urinary problems

A Pakistani urologist has introduced a modern and easier method for diagnosing women's urinary problems, offering faster diagnosis without involving any major procedure at a hospital.

Dr. Shabbir Chaudhry, a kidney transplant surgeon and urologist, explained how many women suffer from common urinary issues such as frequent urination, sudden urgency, leakage while coughing or sneezing, and repeated bathroom visits during the night.

According to him, these symptoms are often linked to bladder sensitivity or blockage in the urinary tract, which can affect daily life and disturb sleep.

To diagnose such conditions, Dr. Shabbir advised the use of an advanced cystoscopy procedure. This method uses a thin flexible tube fitted with a high-quality camera to check the bladder and urinary passage from the inside.

Dr. Shabbir explained that in the past these examinations usually required hospital admission, operation theatre arrangements and general anesthesia. However, with newer technology, the same process can now be done in a much simpler and quicker way.

The updated procedure can help doctors identify the problem quickly and guide patients to proper treatment without unnecessary delay.
