Oman bans international travelling over coronavirus

Oman has banned ll the international to and from travelling from land, air and ports as its again closed its borders starting from Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
The Supreme Committee decides to prevent entry to and exit from the Sultanate through various land, air and seaports, starting from 1 am tomorrow, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, for a period of one week.
The aeroplanes and ships for cargo and trucks will be excluded from this prohibition. The committee will continue to monitor the new strain of coronavirus and take appropriate decisions accordingly.
The decision came after examining what has been announced by the authorities in a number of countries about the emergence of a new strain of the coronavirus, and to protect members of society from the severity of its infection and the speed of its spread.
