Pakistan warns India again against any misadventure
It is pertinent to note that this is the second high-level response and warning by Pakistan to India in the last 24 hours cautioning the Indian side not to provoke war and go after any sort of fake surgical strike, otherwise, Pakistan will give a befitting response to the threat at all levels.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said he received the Indian fake surgical strike alert by the ‘security institutions’ of Pakistan when he was in Dubai. The Foreign Minister said he shared the information with the international press and with the Dubai rulers.
Pakistani Foreign Minister clarified, “Pakistan does not want war and unjust bloodshed. While India has been committing ceasefire violations in the Line of Control and targeting innocent people and this situation is in front of the whole world.
“India is seeking to destroy the international peace,” he further said.
Foreign Minister completed his two-day visit to UAE where Pakistan raised the issue of visa suspension facility for Pakistanis by the UAE and besides other matters, the Afghanistan issue was also discussed during his visit to the UAE.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi reiterated that there was absolutely no pressure on Pakistan to recognize Israel and Prime Minister Imran Khan and he himself along with Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it clear several times that Pakistani would never establish relations with Israel until a lasting solution and just settlement of Palestinian issue.
He was talking to media persons in Multan on Monday.
Earlier he said the United Arab Emirates would never twist relations with Pakistan on the behest of Indian regime. He said Pakistan is holding excellent ties with UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other countries in the region.
The Foreign Minister said India has relations with UAE but Pakistan holds unique importance with Arab countries. Shah Mehmood said the suspension of visa for Pakistanis by the UAE is a temporary halt and the matter would be addressed after normalization of COVID-19, tense situation.
The Foreign Minister said countries are re-implementing their corona SOPs as coronavirus is becoming more dangerous amid the current wave of coronavirus all over the world including UK, Germany
“Pakistan Democratic Movement leadership should think and they should come on national agenda on the national level amid the coronavirus situation and information being received about India.”
Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed PPP will not resign as PPP leaders say they will also participate in by-elections.
“These public rallies by PDM are useless as everyone has seen that PDM is running its movement with a few workers do not have public support,” Shah Mehmood said and challenged PDM leadership that if PDM leadership is serious that it should submit resignations to the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies by December 31, otherwise don't fool the nation.
