Leader of dacoit gang killed in Karachi police encounter 

The leader of an inter-provincial dacoit gang was killed in a police encounter in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

According to police, the accused who died in the encounter with the SIU was found to be involved in more than 30 incidents. 

Weapons, Rs2.5 million in cash, gold ornaments and a car were recovered from the deceased accused. 

According to the SSP, the deceased accused was wanted by the police in robbery and arms cases. 

Action was taken to identify other arrested accused of the gang.
