US media report Israeli plans for possible Iran attack

Reports in the United States media suggest that Israel may be preparing for renewed military action against Iran, as tensions between the two long-time adversaries continue to escalate amid fears over Tehran’s expanding military capabilities, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the UD media reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet former US President Donald Trump in Washington on December 29.

The meeting is likely to focus on regional security issues, with Netanyahu expected to brief Trump on Israel’s concerns and potential plans regarding Iran.

Israeli officials have repeatedly claimed that Iran is expanding its nuclear and missile programmes, developments that Israel views as an existential threat.

These concerns have been highlighted in US media coverage, which notes growing alarm within Israel’s security establishment over Iran’s military progress.

Israel has also warned that Iran possesses the capacity to manufacture thousands of missiles within a month, a claim that has added urgency to Israeli calls for decisive action.

Analysts say such assessments are shaping Israel’s increasingly hardline posture toward Tehran.

While no official confirmation has been issued regarding an imminent strike, the circulation of these reports has heightened regional anxiety, with observers warning that any further escalation could have serious consequences for Middle East stability.
