The security guard, who killed Professor Bashir Ahmad at the gate of Islamia College University Peshawar, has been arrested, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The accused Sher Muhammad was arrested from Karak. 

Police sources revealed that a team of Peshawar police was sent to Karak to arrest the accused.

It is note that the teacher of English language at historic Islamia College University (ICU) was shot dead by the security guard on February 19th after the two had a heated exchange of words on some petty issue.

The security guard fired with his gun at the teacher, killing him on the spot. The accused, however, managed to escape from the scene.
