Never imagined I will devise strategy against New Zealand, says Mike Hesson
Pakistan’s head coach says will ensure Pakistan wins match against Kiwis
Pakistan cricket team head coach Mike Hesson, a New Zealander, said on Saturday ahead of a Super 8 game between Pakistan and New Zealand that he had never imagined that he would wear a green shirt and chalk out a strategy against his country’s team, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Showing loyalty to another country’s team against my country’s team will be a new experience for me,” he said, adding that however, he was ready for the challenge after having trained Kiwis for seven years.
“It was nice to meet acquaintances at breakfast table today,” Hesson said.
The head coach said that although he was a New Zealander from the bottom of his heart, still he would utilize all his potential to ensure that Pakistan won today’s match.
