Two dacoits killed in Khairpur police encounter

Two dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter near Ranipur in Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to DIG Sukkur, the dacoits opened fire on police after cops reached there after receiving information of robbery on Sobhodero Link Road and two dacoits killed in retaliatory firing.
The slain dacoits identified as Aqib Ashraf and Ali Ashraf Gadhi.
Police recovered weapons and stolen goods worth Rs200,000 from the possession of the slain dacoits.
The slain dacoits had also robbed Saindad Kalhoro's house worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from limits of Ranipur police station a few days ago.
DIG Nasir Aftab announced appreciation certificates and cash reward for police team.
