Nawaz Sharif’s Karachi visit may get cancelled

Former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s plan to go to Karachi on January 28 might get cancelled due to engagements, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Quoting its sources, 24News reported that in the event of cancellation of Nawaz’s trip, his daughter, the party’s vice president and chief organizer Maryam Nawaz would go to Karachi in his place.

In Karachi, they informed, Maryam would address a public gathering at Bagh-i-Jinnah, and in case the party was not granted permission for the event at the venue, it might be held either in Malir, Shah Faisal or KPT Ground.
