Turkey agrees to join Trump's Board of Peace

Turkey has agreed to become a member of the newly established global “Board of Peace,” reaffirming its active diplomatic role in promoting international peace and stability, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will represent Turkey at the Board of Peace meeting scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, according to the official social media platform. 

The high-level gathering is expected to bring together global leaders and policymakers to deliberate on pressing security challenges and pathways toward sustainable peace.

Speaking ahead of the forum, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized that Turkey remains committed to constructive dialogue and proactive diplomacy to foster peace and stability across conflict-prone regions.

The Davos meeting is expected to feature important consultations on global peace, security, and geopolitical stability, with Turkey playing a visible role in shaping discussions.

Analysts believe Ankara’s inclusion in the Board of Peace highlights international recognition of its diplomatic initiatives and strategic engagement in crisis resolution.
