Rejecting the claims made by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs) that she had offered them money in return for their votes for Hamza Shehbaz in the election for Punjab chief minister (CM) due to be held tomorrow (Friday, July 22, 2022), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Raheela Khadim Hussain on Thursday said she would take those pointing fingers at her to the court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking at Lahore’s Royal Swiss Hotel, she categorically rejected the accusation that she had offered money to the PTI MPAs. “I strongly reject these claims. I have contacted not a single MPA of the opposition party for the purpose. “On the contrary, PTI leaders Shehbaz Gill, Fawad Chaudhry and Dr. Yasmin Rashid shared my cellphone number with their party workers on WhatsApp following which the latter started calling me and misbehaving with me,” she alleged.
“So far, I have blocked 300 numbers from which I received obnoxious calls,” she informed.
She challenged the PTI leaders to present in the court proofs of her contacts with their party MPAs on phone. “And I will give mine,” Raheela announced.
