CAA notifies fresh restrictions

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has notified fresh travel restrictions to stem the spread of coronavirus.
The CAA imposed a complete ban on inbound travel to Pakistan from Category C countries including withdrawal of exemptions earlier provided to Pakistan passport holders, NICOP and POC holders, the notification said.
South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Peru, Mozambique, Columbia, Comoros, Tanzania and Brazil are in Category C were the new countries included in category C, it added.
No passenger will be entered Pakistan till March 23, the CAA said in a notification, making mandatory coronavirus test for passengers of Category-A. The United Kingdom has been delisted from Category C countries and added into Category B.
