Gandapur granted protective bail in two cases

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Dera Ismail Khan circuit bench Tuesday granted protective bail to former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur till April 8 next in one case of Bhakkar and Islamabad each, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The lawyer for Ali Amin Gandapur said that he had been asked to approach the courts of Sargodha and Islamabad.

A heavy contingent of police and an armored vehicle had arrived outside the court during the appearance of Gandapur. He was likely to be arrested in another case despite the protective bail.

Gandapur was still in the court till the filing of the report.

It is to be noted here that Ali Amin Gandapur and his guards had fired shots at policemen over being stopped for checking at Dajal checkpost in Bhakkar district.

Bhakkar police had registered a case against Ali Amin Gandapur on terrorism charges and reached Dera Ismail Khan to arrest him.
