The judicial complex of Lahore’s sessions courts Tuesday turned into a battleground following a clash between two groups as both sides relentlessly threw sticks, bricks and stones at each other, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Many people from both sides were injured in the clash. People from both sides also beat each other with fire cylinders.

A heavy police force reached the spot after the situation worsened. The police arrested around 50 accused and moved them to Islampura police station.

Police said that the clash had occurred after the complainant and opponent parties entered the judicial complex at the same time for the hearing of a case in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Mazhar Fareed Ali.
