Bodies of woman and daughter found in Lahore Cantt

Edhi volunteers recovered dead bodies of a woman and her daughter who were tortured to death and then were thrown into a nullah in Lahore Cantt, reported 24NewsHDTV channel on Friday.

A spokesman of Edhi Foundation said they found bodies of a woman and her daughter from a nullah located near Tera Village of Ring Road in North Cantonment area of Lahore.

The age of the deceased mother was 32 years while her daughter was 10 years old. The identification of both was yet to be established.

Local police and Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) Lahore team after obtaining necessary evidence from the crime scene started investigation from different angles.

Edhi sources said that after completion of necessary procedure by police and investigation agencies they will shift the dead bodies to local mortuary in Edi ambulance.

Earlier in February 2025, a Rescue 1122 team recovered dead body of a woman whose throat was slit in the jurisdiction of Sanda Police Station.
