Finance Minister Aurangzeb chairs maiden meeting of Crypto Council 

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb chaired the maiden meeting of Crypto Council in Islamabad on Froiday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

During the meeting, Crypto Council CEO Bilal Bin Saqib briefed the participants on the obstacles being faced in the use of cryptocurrency. He said there was a need to create a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency. 

Bilal Saqib said Pakistan can use surplus electricity in crypto mining. He said cryptocurrency model in regional countries can be adopted according to Pakistan’s requirements. Finance Minister said Pakistan can learn from cryptocurrency models. He said transparency will be ensured in Pakistan's financial system. He said Pakistan should be given a model that provides new opportunities to the youth.
