Canadian High Commissioner calls on Shehbaz Sharif

Canadian High Commissioner Wendy Gilmour Friday called on opposition leader in National Assembly and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif at his official residence in Islamabad, reported 24News HD TV channel.
During the meeting, both the leaders discussed bilateral relations of Canada and Pakistan. They discussed coronavirus situation and other issues of mutual interests.
On the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his best wishes for the people of Canada and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He said PM Trudeau’s social policies regarding coexistence were commendable. He said the international community could play an important role to highlight the voices of the people of oppressed nations like Kashmir and Palestine.
The PML-N president said Pakistan’s positive role in establishing peace in Afghanistan could bring a positive change in the region.
Some other PML-N leaders were also present on the occasion.
