Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz Friday night released the photos of masked men who tried to attack his father Mian Nawaz Sharif in London.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Maryam Nawaz strongly condemning the incident in her tweet displayed some photographs of the unidentified attackers.

Reportedly, four masked men tried to enter the office of Hassan Nawaz Sharif in the Marble Arch area of central London.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accompanied by former finance minister Ishaq Dar and former parliamentarian Abid Sher Ali was present inside the office at the moment.

The masked men threatened Hassan Nawaz at the stairs leading to his office and tried to enter the office by force.

Mian Nawaz Sharif's security guards and the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leaders including Nasir Butt and Abid Sher Ali came out of the office and stopped the attackers to enter the office to hurt their leader.

All the four masked men immediately escaped from the spot when PML-N leaders called the London police for their protection. London police started investigations into the incident.

Maryam Nawaz in her tweet termed such incident, “Resorting to gross criminality in the face of political frustration and defeat”.

She was of the view, “Peoples voice will not be silenced by low-life 3rd rate criminals. Nawaz Sharif is the voice of the people of Pakistan and will not be silenced, Insha’Allah”. 

Praying for her father, Maryam Nawaz Sharif also said, “May Allah protects you, Nawaz Sharif”.

In another tweet on the same incident, she said the people who played with Nawaz Sharif’s life during his detention had not stopped yet.

She rued to face coward political enemies in politics and stated that the attackers belong to the same mindset as the people who had broken her hotel’s room in Karachi last year and tried to take pictures of her sick mother before her death.

Separately, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif also condemned an attempt to attack his brother Nawaz Sharif in London. 

He demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits and taking them to the task as per law.
