Forces eliminate most-wanted militant with Rs3m head money in North Waziristan

What can be termed a big achievement, security forces in an intelligence-based operation carried out in Spinwam area of North Waziristan, have killed five militants, including most wanted Omar alias Jan Mir alias Toor Saqib, carrying a head money of Rs3 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Sources told the 24News TV channel that Omar was the mastermind of several attacks on security forces as well as civilians.

He, they added, had dug out bunkers and tunnels around a mosque in Spinwam area besides laying down explosives underground.

Sources informed that security forces chalked out a well-thought- out strategy to eliminate the militants.

Experts, on the other hand, have said, that the death of Omar was a big blow to terrorists.

They have said that operations being carried out against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan were going on successfully.
