The police on Monday arrested a school principal for allegedly raping an 18-year-old maid in Kazi Ahmad tehsil of Nawabshah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the police, a rape compliant was lodged against principal by victim Afshan Chauhan alleging that she has been working in the school for four years and she was forcibly raped by Principal Asif Arain. He also threatened her to remain silent. 

SHO of Kazi Ahmad Waheed Sheikh said that a case was registered on the complaint of the victim and accused was also arrested. 

A medical report has also been submitted, along with DNA samples from the accused and the victim girl. Following the report, further investigation will be carried out. 

On the contrary, the detained accused claimed that, Afshan wanted to marry him but he refused to do so. Consequently, she trapped him because he turned down her proposal. Moreover, the police have arrested him on baseless accusation.
