Gold price falls by Rs500 per tola

The gold price has gone down in global as well as the local markets, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

The gold rate fell from $14 to $1,623 per ounce in the global market.

The price of gold went down by Rs500 per tola in the local market.

The new price of gold per tola is Rs147,400. The rate of 10g gold has been cut by Rs428.

The 10-g gold rate becomes Rs126, 372.

However, the silver price remained unchanged.
