Terror bid foiled in Karachi

Karachi Police Friday foiled a terror bid siezing a huge amount of explosives in Afridi Colony, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The South division Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Asad Raza stated that the operation was after recieving a tip-off.

The explosives were being moved in a rickshaw and the driver was arrested.

Reportedly, the Sindh police seized large coils of wire and aluminum detonators in a large quantity in this historic operation.

Further investigation is underway.
