Earlier, Pakistan had opened their campaign with a convincing win over Mongolia, securing two consecutive victories to comfortably qualify for the last eight.
Before the quarterfinals, Pakistan will compete in the Top 8 classification round, which will determine the seedings and opponents for the knockout stage.
