Pakistan storms into Asian Youth Games volleyball quarterfinals in Bahrain

Pakistan booked their spot in the quarterfinals of the volleyball event at the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain after recording back-to-back victories in the group stage, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

In their second group match, Pakistan produced a commanding performance to defeat hosts Bahrain 3-0 in straight sets, with scores of 25-18, 26-24, and 25-23.

The thrilling contest lasted one hour and 19 minutes, showcasing Pakistan’s strong control and resilience under pressure.

Earlier, Pakistan had opened their campaign with a convincing win over Mongolia, securing two consecutive victories to comfortably qualify for the last eight.

Before the quarterfinals, Pakistan will compete in the Top 8 classification round, which will determine the seedings and opponents for the knockout stage.
