NCOC lifts extra Covid curbs from 6 cities including Lahore

The National Command and Operation Centre has announced to lift additional restrictions related to coronavirus SOPs from six districts including Lahore where the positivity ratio has decreased, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A meeting of the NCOC was held under the chair of Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar on Tuesday.
The meeting decided to remove the additional Covid curbs from six districts including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Gujrat, and Bannu.
However, the Covid SOPs will remain in place for the rest of the country.
NCOC head Asad Umar will review the coronavirus situation in the next meeting on September 28th.
The NCOC statement reads that the Pfizer vaccine was available in huge amounts.
The apex body to formulate policy to combat coronavirus, the NCOC has urged citizens to get themselves vaccinated at the earliest without wasting any time.
