The weather turned pleasant when it started to rain in Lahore on Tuesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the weather report, the rain will continue to pour down intermittently till evening. A system that brings rain has entered Lahore and the city will witness spells of wet showers till Friday.

Rain has soaked different areas of the provincial capital including Laxshmi Chowk, Gowalmandi, Raj Garh, Samanabad, Mall Road and several other areas. 

However, the rain also caused electricity breakdown in several areas hit by the rain.

Meanwhile, the Met Office also forecast a new spell of showers in Karachi from Sept 23. 

The weather in Quaid’s city was pleasant today. 

Heavy rain poured down in different areas of Azad Kashmir including Rawala Kot and Bhimbhar. According to the Met Office report, the rain spell will continue till Sept 25 in the AJK.

The heavy rain in Bhimbhar and surrounding mountains might trigger land sliding in the area.

The AJK was in the grip of heat these days but the present rainy spell has brought much-needed respite.
