Rawalpindi DHA dismisses 16 employees over corruption

The District Health Authority (DHA) Rawalpindi on Sunday dismissed 16 more employees who were ‎allegedly involved in corruption, reported 24NewsHD TV.‎

CEO Health Rawalpindi Dr. Ehsan Ghani said that the process of dismissal of 200 more employees is underway ‎due to disappointing performance.‎

He said that action was taken against employees for poor performance and violation of discipline. Fourteen ‎employees were fined one month’s salary, while increments of three employees were confiscated.‎

Dr. Ehsan Ghani further stated that an inquiry is also underway against 500 employees over poor performance ‎throughout the year.‎
