Faisal Karim Kundi visits Hayatabad medical complex, meets injured ANF officer

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi visited Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar and inquired after injured Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Assistant Director Waqas Ahmad Awan, reported 24NewsHD TV.

ANF Commander Brigadier Mazhar was also present during the governor’s visit.

Waqas Ahmad Awan was injured when terrorists opened fire near Hayatabad, according to officials.

Faisal Karim Kundi paid tribute to the injured ANF officer for his bravery and prayed for his speedy recovery.

The governor said law-enforcement personnel remained targets of terrorists and also criticised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, alleging that its policies were contributing to unrest and instability in the province.

Kundi said law and order had deteriorated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and alleged that governance had weakened.
