Snowfall turns Babusar Top icy cold as tourists flock to scenic spot

Snowfall continued at the popular tourist destination of Babusar Top on Monday, bringing a sharp drop in temperature and drawing a large number of tourists, while nearby Naran town remained dry, reported 24NewsHD TV.

The fresh snowfall transformed weather conditions at Babusar Top, where temperatures fell significantly as snow continued to blanket the mountainous tourist spot.

Despite the intense cold, many visitors reached Babusar Top to experience the snowfall.

Tourists were seen spending time in the snow as the wintry conditions added to the attraction of the high-altitude destination.

Weather conditions in Naran, however, remained different, with dry weather prevailing in the town while snowfall continued at Babusar Top.

The weather contrast between Naran and the higher reaches highlighted how quickly conditions change with altitude in the mountainous region.

The snowfall also brought extremely cold conditions to Babusar Top, with temperatures dropping considerably as the spell continued.

The local administration said roads to and from Babusar Top remained open despite the snowfall, and traffic continued.

Officials said the routes had not been closed because of the snowfall so far.

The administration is monitoring the situation, as weather conditions in mountainous areas can change quickly, particularly during spells of snowfall.

With routes remaining open, tourists continued travelling towards Babusar Top to witness the snowfall and enjoy the cold weather.

Visitors travelling to higher-altitude areas are advised to remain mindful of changing weather and road conditions as temperatures continue to fall at Babusar Top
