The Punjab government has decided to open land record authority centres across the province, including Lahore, from tomorrow, and a notification to this effect has been issued already.

In Lahore, the land record authority centres will be open with limited staff, while taking all the measures humanly possible to safeguard against the coronavirus.

However, it will be ensured that all centres have been properly disinfected with chlorine spray after which it will be opened to facilitate the citizens in connection to their land-related issues and records.

But the citizens will have to book their requests on a helpline a day before claiming the land record (fard).

Each official in-charge of land record centre has been directed to paste booking lists outside the office by 9 AM.
