April 22, 2022 04:58 PM

For the first time in the history of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), women were robbed of their valuables, and that, too, in a broad daylight, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to reports, a van carrying around dozen female teachers from Peshawar was intercepted by three armed men near Barra tehsil of Khyber who snatched cellphones, cash and jewellery from them.

Later, female teachers of the area announced boycott of their classes until and unless the dacoits were arrested.

Police, on the other hand, launched investigation into the incident.
