Raisi for enhancing Pak-Iran trade volume to $10 billion

Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi has expressed his desire to enhance the trade volume with Pakistan to $10 billion.
Speaking to the media in Tehran before leaving for a three-day visit to Pakistan on Monday, Ebrahim Raisi said that Islamabad is a neighbouring and brotherly Islamic country and Tehran has very good political, economic and religious relations with it.
Raisi further said that Iran and Pakistan have a common position on various global issues. Both the countries have a common position on human rights, Palestine and anti-terrorism war. Pakistan and Iran cooperate with each other on related issues, he added.
The Iranian president said that there will be talks with the authorities in Pakistan on security, economic and trade issues.
Raisi said that the volume of mutual trade with Pakistan will be taken up to $10 billion, adding that Islamabad can benefit from the Iranian market.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi along with a high-level delegation has reached Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on a three-day official visit.
