India has failed to prove Pakistan’s involvement in Pahalgam attack, says Atta Tarar

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Wednesday that India had failed to give proof of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pahalgam attack, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking at the first anniversary of the incident, which led to a military confrontation between India and Pakistan in May, 2025, the minister said that India had failed to answer the questions raised by Pakistan in the aftermath of the attack.

He said that India had a history of carrying out false flag operations, and termed the Pahalgam attack one such operation. “Pakistan has repeatedly offered to India a transparent and independent investigation into the incident,” he said, adding it was surprising that despite the fact that the police station was at some distance, the case was registered only within 10 minutes of the attack.

Tarar accused India of promoting terrorism in Pakistan. “India is using terrorism as a state policy,” he said.

He said it was unfortunate that India declared that Kashmir was its integral part. “The truth of the matter is that Kashmir is an international issue.”

He, on the occasion, vowed that Pakistan would not relent until and unless terrorism was rooted out.

The minister said that today the world was all praise for Pakistan, while India, on the other hand, was facing isolation.

He also made it clear that Pakistan would never compromise on its sovereignty and dignity, and that it would give a befitting response to any adventurism by India. “Pakistan’s political and military leadership is focused on the country’s defence,” Tarar said.
