Two girls raped in madrassas of Gujranwala, Rawalpindi

In two different incidents, two girls have been raped in madrassas (religious seminaries) located in Rawalpindi and Gujranwala cities of Punjab province.
The 24News HD TV channel reported Sunday that both the girls were raped by administrators of the religious seminaries.
The first incident occurred in the area of Perwadhai in Rawalpindi where a girl, 16, was allegedly raped by the superintendent of a madrassa with a help of a female teacher.
The victim girl’s mother said that initially, the seminary authorities informed her about the victim that she was unconscious.
The mother of the victim girl said when she reached madrassa to get her unconscious daughter, there were some signs of torture on her body.
The victim girl’s mother said that the accused superintendent of madrassa with the help of a female teacher gave her daughter an intoxicating coffee and abused her.
She also claimed that though the local police had registered a case but avoiding arresting the culprits because they were influential people.
The second incident of rape has occurred in the limits of Garjakh Police Station in Gujranwala where the accused abused seven years old girl in the washroom of a madrassa.
As per details of the incident, the police has registered a case against the accused as the rape has been confirmed in the medical report of the victim little girl.
The police had taken more samples of the girl and sent them to the forensic laboratory.
