Two people were shot dead by unidentified armed men near Khanpur railway crossing in Ghotki on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the slain persons were identified as Islam and Bachal Gabool, resident of Soomro Moori area of Khanpur Mehr.

Police said the motorcycle riding accused managed to escape after firing while police is chasing them.
