Karachi ATC court to decide on bail application of Sindh Opposition Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh on Tuesday

President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have inquired from the family of Haleem Adil Sheikh about his well-being and expressed concern over the health of Haleem Adil Sheikh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Imran Khan said that the government stood by the Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil.
Haleem Adil Sheikh, who has been detained for violating ECP’s code of conduct on by-poll day, and PTI worker Sameer Sheikh bail case hearing was heard in Anti-Terrorism Court Karachi.
The counsel for Haleem Adil completed its arguments while the Sindh prosecutor requested time to present his arguments.
“If the public prosecutor wants to give arguments tomorrow, he can present tomorrow,” the court said.
The court will decide tomorrow (Tuesday) on the bail application of both accused.
Cases have been registered against both accused at Memon Goth police station and Police have charged the accused with rioting, attempted murder and terrorism charges.
While Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed also took notice of the alleged torture on Haleem Adil in jail.
Separately, Federal Minister of Communications Murad Saeed also contacted the family of Haleem Adil Sheikh, Leader of Opposition in Sindh and condemned the detention in the strongest possible words.
He said, “The government-sponsored PPP bullying in Sindh is condemned. In Sindh, all democratic values are being trampled on and the Leader of the Opposition is trying the worst tactics of violence.
Separately, Haleem Adil Sheikh entered Karachi Central at 3.20 pm on Saturday, the TV channel reported.
