Pakistani Actor Shamoon Abbasi Wednesday bashed veteran Indian poet Javed Akhtar over his allegations of Pakistan's involvement in the Bombay attacks at Faiz Festival in Alhamra Art Center, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Renowned Indian poet and writer Javed Akhtar came to Pakistan for the International Faiz Festival 2023 in Alhamra Art Center Lahore on the 18th of February. He complainingly said that India hosted concerts and shows of Nusrat Father Ali Khan and Mehdi Hassan but Pakistani never hosted shows for Lata Mangeshkar. He said that he is a resident of Bombay and he witnessed the Bombay attacks of 26/11 and the perpetrators were not from Norway or Egypt but they were from Pakistan and they are still roaming free in this country.

The audience present there, which should have stood up against him blaming Pakistan instead cheered him for his speech. This emboldened the Indian media and they were all cheering that Javed Akhtar performed a surgical strike against Pakistan in their own backyard.

Many artists bashed him taking to their social media and now Shamoon Abbasi also shared his two cents on this matter. He said that Javed Akhtar is accusing Pakistan without any proof. You are an artist and making such baseless accusations does not suit you. We gave back Abhinandan with honor after serving him tea. Kulbushan Jadhav is still in Pakistan and he has already told and confessed everything about how he was planted to destroy the CPEC project and other things as well. He concluded the bashing saying that many other artists came from India as well and we honor them very much.

The organizers of the Faiz Festival kept Javed hidden from the media and barred them from covering his session as well. Akhtar kept on speaking against Pakistan but the organizers did not stop the anti-Pakistan speech. Even though the media was not allowed to cover it, the sessions still went viral all over the internet.
