Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) key leader Usman Dar has escaped to Dubai apparently to avoid arrest by Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Usman Dar did not appear before the ACR despite being called for three times over alleged financial misappropriation cases.
Anti-Corruption Sialkot summoned PTI leader Usman Dar and his two brothers on February 20 but they again refused to appear before the establishment.
Interestingly, PTI started its Jail Bharo Movement on Wednesday, and instead of going to jail following his leader’s call, Usman Dar took the escape route.
According to the sources, Usman Dar left for Dubai at 2 pm last night.
Usman Dar's brother, Aamir Dar, and his front-man Tasawar Hussain had already fled to Saudi Arabia for avoiding any possible arrest by the ACE.
Earlier, the party leader alleged that the authorities made ‘false cases’ against him to take political revenge but he will stand firmly with PTI chief Imran Khan.
He termed the corruption cases against him ‘baseless’ and stated that he is desperately waiting for the anti-corruption trial.
He also vowed the PTI leadership is already prepared for the ‘Jail Bharo’ movement, these cases won’t faint their confidence.
