Cops, among five arrested, for looting youths in Lahore

Police in Lahore on Sunday arrested five people, including policemen, who robbed youths, who had come to Lahore from Mian Channu, of their cellphones, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources told the 24News TV channel that Naurez, a resident of Mian Channu, came to Lahore along with his friends.

The youths were sitting at a Pizza Shop in Phase-5 of the Defence Housing Society when the cops reached there, threatened them with the registration of cases, and took them away to a police station.

Sources informed that at the police station, the cops demanded money from them.

And when the youths refused to pay them money, the cops sold some of their cellphones for Rs52,000, while kept the remaining cellphones valued at Rs400,000 with them.

Police informed that those arrested were Awais, Faisal, Ali Imran, Asadullah and Abdul Manan and that they were being interrogated.
