Four labourers were killed while eight were injured after a truck overturned in Sargodha on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The accident took place on the road, connecting Melowal to Dhoori.

As many as 12 labourers were sitting on the truck.

Rescue 1122 officials said that the deceased were identified as Muhammad Ali (age 25), Muhammad Adeel (age 22), Muhammad Ali (age 18) and Muhammad Amjad (age 20).

They said that those who were injured were Muhammad Salman (age 20), Amir (19), Muhammad Akbar (18), Muhammad Noman (25), Muhammad Ramzan (22), Tasawwur Abbas (27), Inayatullah (27) and Muhammad Nazakat (21).

The injured were shifted to THQ Hospital after the provision of first aid.

Also on Thursday, two children were killed while their parents and the driver were seriously injured after their car overturned in Tirah Valley in Khyber.

The family was shifting from Tirah Valley to Cherat when it met with an accident.

According to reports, children died on the spot, while the parents and the driver were shifted to a hospital.

The family belonged to Kamarkhel tribe.
