Farmers to benefit from CPEC projects: Asim Bajwa

Chairman of China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority (CPECA) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Thursday said that agriculture, livestock and fisheries in Pakistan have the potential but these would be addressed under CPEC projects, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet, Asim Saleem Bajwa said, “On Agriculture prospects with farmers of the area close to Khunjrab Pass-Gilgit Baltistan).”

He said that agriculture, livestock and fisheries has potential but challenges too and working to address them under CPEC.
Earlier he said, “Investment in Green Gwadar is just the beginning, now working on a coastal plantation project in line with the PM's vision of Clean and Green Pakistan. It’s a revolution in the making for the entire 1000 KMs coastal belt.”
