Big decline of Rs1,800 per tola in gold prices in Pakistan

A big decline of Rs1,800 per tola is witnessed in gold prices in the Pakistani market on Wednesday. It is the third consecutive day when the prices of the yellow metal are reduced in the current week.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24-Karat gold fell by a further Rs1,800 per tola and Rs1,543 per 10 grams to reach Rs2,18,700 per tola and Rs1,87,500 per 10 grams respectively.
In the last two days, the price of 24-Karat gold fell by Rs1,200 per tola and Rs1,021 per 10 grams.
On Wednesday, the 22 karats of gold being used in jewellery making in Pakistan price of 10 grams was reduced to Rs1,71,875.
The price of the yellow metal decreased by US$17 per ounce to US$1934 per ounce in the international market on Wednesday.
The price of 24 karats pure silver was also reduced by Rs50 per tola to Rs2,550 per tola. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver also declined by Rs42.87 to Rs2186.21 per 10 grams.
