One killed, four injured in Kohat gold mine collapse

One worker was killed and four others were injured when a gold mine collapsed in the Khushalgarh area of Kohat on Monday, officials said.

Local residents and rescue teams launched a rescue operation immediately after the accident to recover those trapped under the debris.

The body of the deceased worker and the injured miners were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and further procedures.
