Cricketer Azhar Ali’s mother passed away in Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The details of the funeral prayers will be shared later. Azhar Ali urged people to follow COVID-19 SOPs to attend the funeral prayers of his mother.

Azhar Ali informed the news of the sad demise of her beloved mother through a tweet.

He posted, “My mother passed away this afternoon Inna lillahi wa inna eliehi rajion. Soon I will inform you of the details regarding janaza but I have requested to follow SOPs for COVID when attending the janaza. Please make dua for her.”
