Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Tuesday paid tribute to ‘mother of democracy’ Begum Nusrat Bhutto ahead of her 93rd birthday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Bilawal said that the name of Begum Nusrat Bhutto was the one, who forget her tragic personal trauma and fight for the basic political rights of the nation with unwavering determination and perseverance.

Bilawal said, “My grandmother taught us to resist and defeat criminals.”

Begum Nusrat Bhutto was a very brave and dignified woman, Bilawal added.

PPP to celebrates Nusrat Bhutto's birthday countrywide

Celebrations will be held across the country on the birthday (March 23) of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, confirmed by the PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari.

Nayyar Bukhari said that birthday cakes will be cut at the offices of the Central, Provincial and Divisional District Organizations.

Nayyar Bukhari said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto received the title of ‘Mother of Democracy’ for her struggle against dictatorship.

PPP leaders and activists will pay tribute to ‘Mother of Democracy’ for her courageous struggle for the restoration of democracy, Nayyar said.
