JUI, MQM-P in complete harmony, declare leaders

Fazl says govt’s allies are not with it anymore: Muttahida may take a day or two to make final announcement

The leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Tuesday said during a media talk in Bahadurabad, Karachi that both parties were in complete harmony with each other in the current circumstances, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After a meeting with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at the MQM-P’s headquarters, MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that both parties were in harmony in the current circumstances.

“Not only harmony, but in complete harmony,” the JUI-F chief responded to the ‘harmony statement’ of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

“It may take a day or two for the MQM-P to make a final announcement,” Fazlur Rehman said and added that the government’s allies were not with the government anymore.

He also expressed his optimism that the success of the no-confidence motion was sure, adding that he was leaving the MQM-P office satisfied.

“Those filled with evils from head to toe are labelling themselves as the propagators of the good,” Fazlur Rehman said and added that compensation was due to you for supporting the evils.

On the occasion, MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that his party gave weightage to the opinion of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Earlier, the JUI-F chief Tuesday arrived at the headquarters of the MQM-P in Bahadurabad, Karachi where he was accorded a warm welcome by MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and other leaders of the party.

The JUI-F chief held a detailed discussion with the MQM-P leadership with regard to the no-confidence motion against the prime minister.

He reportedly invited the MQM-P leadership to join the opposition alliance against the government.

It is to be noted here that the political climate of the country is continuously rising with each passing day with date of voting for the no-confidence motion drawing nearer.

Both the government and the opposition are making all-out efforts for wining over the support of the allies whose role is considered to be crucial in the no-trust move.
