The district administration in Lahore has given conditional permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 26 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

As per official sources, the Lahore deputy commissioner issued a non-objection certificate to the PTI rally.

“The PTI will be responsible for any loss during the public meeting amid high security risk,” the deputy commissioner said.

The PTI will decide the security and traffic plan with the police.

The party will provide private security guards in the rally.

Meanwhile, the PTI on Wednesday informed the LHC about its objections to the tough conditions which the administration attached to its NOC for holding the rally.

Lahore Deputy Commissioner Rafia Haider, CCPO Bilal Kamiyani and DIG Operations Afzaal Kausal appeared in the court.

The court directed the government law officer to amend the rally conditions and submit a report in the court by 2:00 pm today.
