Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Sunday announced to stage Long March towards Islamabad on May 25 (Wednesday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Imran Khan said he will meet the workers at Kashmir Highway on May 25 at 3 pm.
Imran Khan said they [PTI] will never accept the government of the looters in any situation, adding people from all walks of life will become part of the Long March.
Imran Khan said if there will be any obstacles during the Long March, they [PTI] will take action.
The former premier said the Army said it is neutral, adding then it should remain neutral.
Imran said: "We demand the dissolution of Assembly and announcement of elections", adding he says the police, bureaucracy and the Army, that no situation of anarchy will be created by his [Imran] party.
Imran said, “People tell me that your life is at stake”, adding that there is no threat to his life.
PTI Chairman said they [PTI] will stay in Islamabad, adding that no matter how many days this takes. He said they are ready to sacrifice their lives.
